Pat McGorry’s take on government funding for mental health care

Here’s a link to an ABC article from last week about Pat McGorry’s thoughts on the government’s job on addressing mental health problems in Australia. I’ll sum it up for you: they’re doing a crap job. The main thing he points out is that mental illness care, treatment, and loss of productivity costs the government an insane amount of money each year but they don’t seem to be spending enough money to eventually fix this problem.
